Dr. Charles Frank is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who over his more than 25 years in practice has treated a great range of musculoskeletal problems. He treats adults and children for general Orthopaedic needs. He has additional training and specializes in disorders of the hand and wrist, both operative and non-operative. This includes Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, nerve and tendon lacerations, arthritis, trigger fingers, fractures, plastic surgery on hands, and other injuries. Individual problems are treated with a range of alternatives, meeting the patient’s needs and desires including casts, medicine, and therapy, as well as surgery of bones, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and joints.

Dr. Frank graduated from The Chicago Medical School, interned at Northwestern University, and completed his Orthopedic training at Michael Reese and University of Chicago Hospitals. His MBA from Northwestern has helped Complete Orthopaedic Care to provide efficient, and patient oriented care. His undergraduate degree is from Washington University, St. Louis. Prior to that, he attended New Trier High School.

As an active member of the medical community, Dr. Frank teaches medical students and helps train surgical nurses and technicians. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and Lake County Medical Society. He helped raise five wonderful children. He holds a commercial pilot’s license. Sports remain an important part of his life including tennis, swimming, roller blading, and Yoga.



Dr. Joseph Meis is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with special interests in total joint replacement surgery, as well as in arthroscopic surgery of the knee. He received his undergraduate degree from Brown University. He then attended Northwestern University Medical School, where he also completed his internship and orthopaedic surgery residency. He has been a practicing orthopaedic surgeon since 1984.

Dr. Meis performs all of the total hip and total knee replacement surgery at Complete Orthopaedic Care. He has expertise in both the operative and non-operative treatment of arthritis, including minimal incision hip and knee replacement. He was involved in the creation of the total joint replacement program at Advocate Condell Medical Center. His practice also involves caring for patients with knee injuries, including the arthroscopic treatment of ligament and cartilage injuries.

He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Illinois State Medical Society. He enjoys teaching students from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University, both in the office and at the hospital.

Dr. Meis has been a competitive bicycle racer for over 40 years. He is a former Illinois State Cycling Champion and has finished as high as third place at the Masters' National Track Bike Championships. He has been certified by the United States Cycling Federation as a level one coach. Because of these experiences, he feels particularly attuned to the special needs of endurance athletes of all ages.



Dr. Vivek Mohan received his medical degree and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at University of Illinois at Chicago. He went on to pursue further training at the University of California at Davis in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery.

At UC Davis, he received a broad exposure to spine surgery, from treating patients with minimally invasive spinal fusion surgery to complex anterior and posterior spinal fusions for spinal deformities.

During his fellowship, he also had the opportunity of working at the Shriner's Hospital for Children of Northern California where he helped treat children with congenital, neuromuscular and idiopathic spinal deformities as well as children with disc herniations and spondylolysis & spondylolisthesis.

In addition to general orthopaedics, Dr. Mohan's practice will emphasize on spinal disorders in adults and children, with special interest in spinal deformity and complex reconstruction.

Dr. Mohan is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, and AO Spine of North America.



Dr. Mark Neault board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery training at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Minneapolis Sports Medical Center, serving as a team physician for the Minnesota Twins, Timberwolves, Wild, Vikings and Gophers. He continues to serve as a consulting team physician for the Minnesota Twins and cares for them when they play our Chicago White Sox. In addition, he has served as team physician for local colleges and high schools.

Dr. Neault specializes in state-of-the-art arthroscopic surgical techniques including shoulder reconstruction, knee reconstruction and hip and ankle arthroscopy. Other specialty operations include reconstruction of massive rotator cuff tears with biologic scaffolds, shoulder arthritis in patients of all ages, as well as minimally invasive techniques to treat tendon disorders.

As an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopic Association of North America, he not only maintains current in his treatment of orthopaedic injuries, but he serves as an educator for fellow physicians in many venues throughout the country and around the world. Dr. Neault is also on the Scientific Advisory Board of Pegasus Biologics, serves as a consulting physician for ArthroCare Sports Medicine/Opus and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University.



 
Shannon Zorn, PA-C, Physician Assistant joined the practice in 2010. She obtained her Master's Degree in physician assistant studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Shannon has been certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants since 2006. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has practiced as a Physician Assistant in the fields of orthopedics, general surgery and emergency medicine.




Connie Spiegel, M.B.A., joined the practice in 2010, as Practice Administrator. She holds a B.A. in Geography and Education from Carroll College, Waukesha, WI, and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. Connie brings in depth experience to Complete Orthopedic Care in the fields of healthcare management, marketing and communications, customer service, technology, education and publishing.
